PLUMMER — Glory Olson had seven kills and one block, Nicole Middleton six kills and one block for the Knights in a 25-6, 25-13, 25-9 North Star League win over the Jaguars at Ron Miller Court.

“The girls played with some intensity tonight and played well as a group,” Lakeside coach Brad Veile said. “They just had fun out there tonight.”

Tenley Lambert had six digs and three aces, Kria Peters 16 assists for Lakeside (5-4, 3-1 NSL), which served 88 percent for the night.

“Our serving was a little better than it’s been in the past,” Veile said. “Tenley was at 100 (percent) and Arianna (Havier-Gorr) was at 90, so that was a step up. We’d been struggling with our serving and not getting a percentage I’d been wanting.”

Lakeside plays at Rogers of Spokane tonight at 7:30 to open play at the Linda Sheridan Classic. The Knights will face Graham-Kapowsin on Saturday at 9 a.m., then face Selah at 11 to conclude pool play.

No information was received for Genesis Prep, which is scheduled to compete in Crossover Classic at Ferris High tonight and Saturday.
