Knudson leads Cards to sweep of Yakima Valley

YAKIMA, Wash. — Chloe Knudson had 10 kills and 15 digs as the North Idaho College Cardinals rolled to a 25-14, 25-15, 25-11 victory over the Yakima Valley College Yaks in Northwest Athletic Conference East Region volleyball Friday night.

Hokulea Vargas had 30 assists, Elise McCammond four aces for NIC (15-3, 4-0 NWAC). Hannah McPhetridge had seven kills and five blocks, and Taylor Foster and Journey Tupea had seven kills each for the Cardinals.

Yakima Valley dropped to 5-18, 1-3.

NIC plays host to Wenatchee Valley on Wednesday.
