BONNERS FERRY — The partial closures of the Kootenai River Inn Casino and Spa (KRI) has been extended to May 1.

According to a press release from the KRI, the decision was made to extend the closure with “an abundance of caution and the safety for our Guests and Team Members in mind.”

This partial closure affects the casino and spa, which are closed at this time. In addition, the Springs Restaurant is only serving take out orders. The hotel guest rooms are not affected at this time and remain in operation.

According to the press release, the KRI hopes to re-open the Kootenai River Inn Casino and Spa to full operations as soon as possible.

“The leadership of the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho cares about our community and the Guests that come to visit our beautiful town,” states the press release. “We understand these are tough and challenging times in all of our lives and encourage everyone to ‘Stay at Home’ to protect yourself, your families and others around.”
