PHD: No new Panhandle COVID-19 cases

SANDPOINT — No new cases of novel coronavirus were diagnosed in northern Idaho over the weekend, according to Panhandle Health District spokeswoman Katherine Hoyer.

There are a total of 44 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Panhandle, with 42 in Kootenai County and two in Bonner County.

There remains no confirmed cases of the disease in Boundary, Shosone or Benewah counties.

Statewide, there have been 1,101 cumulative cases since March 12, the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare said on Monday. The death toll in Idaho stands at 10.
