A delegation of Leonia citizens were in Bonners Ferry yesterday to confer with the Board of County Commissioners in regards to the proposed bridge across the Kootenai at Leonia.

Mrs. Caroline Flood, Superintendent of Schools, reports that several more schools of Boundary County have chosen new names. Porthill will be “Roosevelt,” Paradise Valley will be “Lincoln,” and Naples will be “Pershing.”

Law enforcement officials uncovered a Naples indoor marijuana growing operation with 253 plants and arrested two local men on felony marijuana trafficking charges.

Badgers handily won the first game of a double header against Timberlake on Saturday 13-2, but the second game was a battle, with Timberlake winning 16-11.
