Restrict access order extended

NEWPORT — Pend Oreille County’s order restricting access to public facilities was extended to May 4.

County commissioners adopted a resolution Monday extending the restricted access order to match Gov. Jay Inslee’s stay-at-home order, which was also extended to that date due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The board of commissioners declared a state of emergency on March 16 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
