Congratulations to Coeur d’Alene High School senior Joanna Hover, winner of United Way of North Idaho’s annual Spring Dash T-Shirt Design Contest.

Joanna won a $150 award check and bragging rights as her design, which features several tulips and race courses, will be featured on this year’s race shirts. This is the 38th year for the Spring Dash.

“It’s really cool,” Joanna said. “I want to study graphic design and hopefully keep making things for clients, so it’s cool, especially once I get the shirts, to see it physically.”

They had been waiting their whole lives for that moment, even though neither of them knew the other existed.
