Before Wilson Casey became the “Triv Guy” for the Coeur d’Alene Press, someone else held that honor 78 years ago.

Who, exactly, we couldn’t determine. Maybe it was, like Wilson’s, a syndicated feature that the newspaper subscribed to.

Yet the timelessness of something as trivial as trivia made an impression.
