The Lake County Sheriff’s Office continues its search for a missing Ronan man who disappeared Saturday while picking berries with friends.

According to Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, Allen Ray was reported missing after separating from his friends while picking berries in the Schwartz Lake area of the Mission Mountains, south of Ronan.

No sign of him has been found. Initially there were reports of sightings of him after the initial report, but none of these have been substantiated after further investigation.

More ground search efforts are currently being planned and conducted.

Search efforts have included Sheriff’s deputies, Tribal Rangers, and Search and Rescue personnel on the ground, and Two Bear Air Rescue in the air.

Bell said those with information about Ray should call Lake County dispatch at 406-883-7301.
