CRAFTS

Virus Origami Art: Karla Funderburk started making origami cranes two months ago at her Los Angeles art gallery, intending to make one for each person who has died from COVID-19 in the U.S. Initially, she tried making 10 each night but later realized she would have to be making them for more than 20 years to meet the constantly rising numbers of fatalities so she has since enlisted volunteers who drop off scores of the elegantly made paper swans daily.
