Coronavirus: New cases reported

MOSES LAKE — There were 30 cases of the coronavirus confirmed in Grant County, including 15 in Moses Lake, seven in the Quincy area, five in Ephrata, two in the Mattawa area and one in Royal City, Grant County Health District reported Tuesday.
State officials reported that since the pandemic began, 104 Grant County residents have been hospitalized after testing positive for the virus. Eighteen residents with coronavirus are currently hospitalized, according to the health district.
There have been 565 cases in Moses Lake since the pandemic began, 503 in the Quincy area, and 367 in the Mattawa area.
In Adams County, there were three new confirmed cases in Othello reported on Tuesday, according to Adams County Health Department. There is currently one Adams County patient hospitalized, the health department reported. There have been 520 positive cases in Adams County since the pandemic began.
