OTHELLO — A 45-year-old Othello man died late last week due to a COVID-19 infection, the sixth Adams County resident to die after testing positive for the virus in just over three weeks, the Adams County Health Department said in a press release.

The department’s release expressed condolences and did not name the deceased.

The patient died Saturday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, according to the press release.

Fifteen cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Othello on Thursday, bringing the total cases in Adams County to 540, according to the health department.
