SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man has been arrested for shooting at a vehicle at the Freeman Lake Sportsman’s Access near Oldtown on June 4.
Kyler Scott Age is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured, although had a well-founded fear that they would be harmed by Age, according to court documents.
Age, 18, admitted shooting at the vehicle multiple times while it was occupied by the alleged victims, a probable cause affidavit said. Age allegedly used a Springfield Armory semiautomatic pistol in the shooting, according to court records.
A motive for the shooting was not specified in court documents.
A warrant for Age’s arrest was issued on Aug. 13, court records show.
A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Sept. 2 in Bonner County Magistrate Court.
