TREATY ROCK: Explain further, please

The Saturday history article by Richard Sheldon, Treaty Rock: What Happened?, gives us a good biography of Fredrick Post, but is confusing as to just which falls on the Spokane River were actually purchased from Chief Seltice. Little Falls are the lowest and last falls on the Spokane River, some 60 miles below today’s Post Falls. There is a power dam on Little Falls built by Washington Water Power, circa. 1913.

So, the question is, did Mr. Post actually buy Q’emiln (Post Falls) from Chief Andrew Seltice?
