MOSES LAKE — Commuters can expect long delays Tuesday as they travel on Stratford Road, as multiple lanes will be closed between Mart Road and Knolls Vista Drive for sidewalk work, according to a press release.

Lane closures will occur at the intersection of Valley and Stratford roads, as well as the Mart Road and Stratford Road intersection.

No closure times Tuesday were provided, but commuters were asked to take an alternate route during construction.

Construction and repaving on Stratford Road began in mid-July and has been a continual sight in the area in the proceeding months.

After Tuesday’s roadwork, construction is expected to be finished next spring, said Lynne Lynch, public information officer for the city of Moses Lake.
