Another 11 COVID-19 deaths reported Thursday

Eleven deaths associated with the coronavirus were reported Thursday evening, including ten residents of long-term care facilities, bringing the total deaths of Grant County residents since the pandemic began to 65, according to a press release from the Grant County Health District.
An additional eight deaths at Lake Ridge Center, a nursing home in Moses Lake, were confirmed Thursday night, bringing the total COVID-19-related deaths at that site to 15. Another three deaths are under investigation to determine if they were caused by the coronavirus.
The dead include a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 70s, a man in his 70s, two men in their 80s, a man in his 90s, and two women in their 90s.
Sixty-two residents and 48 staff at Lake Ridge have tested positive with the coronavirus since the outbreak began, wrote Lori Mayer, a spokesperson in an email Thursday.
Columbia Crest Center in Moses Lake is confirming an additional two coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total to eight during the recent outbreak. Three additional deaths are under investigation. The dead include a man in his 60s and a woman in her 90s.
An Electric City resident in her 70s and not a resident of a long-term care facility, also died due to a coronavirus infection, the health district reported Thursday.
