State Route 243 was closed in both directions Monday night after a semi-truck rolled near milepost 5, south of Desert Aire.

Authorities responded at 8:47 p.m. and closed the southbound lane, but had to close the whole road shortly afterward due to a diesel spill and removal, said Washington State Patrol Trooper John Bryant.

The cause was under investigation.

No further details were available.
