MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station convenience store on West Broadway Avenue and one of its customers at gunpoint Tuesday night.

A man, approximately six feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and black face mask, reportedly entered JR’s Economart shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money after displaying a handgun, according to police records.

After robbing the store, the suspect went outside and confronted a patron, robbing him as well. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store and the patron.

The suspect fled the scene and was not located by responding officers.

As of Wednesday evening, police still had not identified or located the subject, said MLPD Police Chief Kevin Fuhr.

Those with information can contact the department at 509-762-1160.
