COEUR d’ALENE — A Montana man who was released on his own recognizance after police said he drove a stolen vehicle to Coeur d’Alene is back in jail.
Dylan J. Lutz, 24, was charged in October with criminal possession of a stolen vehicle and six counts of criminal possession of a financial transaction card, all felonies.
A judge initially ordered that Lutz be held on $50,000 bail but was later released on his own recognizance.
After he reportedly failed to appear in court in December, a judge issued a $50,000 warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody on Dec. 11.
A governor’s warrant out of Montana for felony theft was issued for Lutz on Dec. 22.
