KINLEY: Thanks for the connection

Thank you for the touching article on Kinley, the 8-year-old who wanted to give, not receive, gifts on Christmas. So with help from her mom and grandma, she collected dolls and stuffed animals (even learning to sew for them) before delivering them to the Village at Orchard Ridge for the elderly in memory care.

The joyful smiles on the recipients’ faces reveal their feelings as they hug their new babies. Thanks for the great pictures! It reminds me of the following words from the Little Manifesto Book, “Kindness Changes Everything,” by Kelly Rae Roberts. “I believe…we are all connected and KINDNESS is the voice that softly says, ‘I SEE you. I HONOR you, and YOU ARE NOT ALONE.’”
