VICKI KAY KOHLER ENGAGEMENT TOLD
Mr. and Mrs. William T. Kohler of Kootenai announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Vicki Kay, to Marion Eugene Rollins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rollins, of Kellogg.
Miss Kohler, a 1969 SHS graduate, is employed in Kellogg. Rollins, a 1966 graduate of Kellogg High School, is employed at Linfor Lumber Co. in Kellogg. The couple plan a February wedding.

TEA HONORED MRS. LINSCOTT
Relatives and friends gathered Thursday in the home of Mrs. Lillian Linscott in Kootenai to honor her with a surprise tea. Mrs. Linscott and Norman Linscott of Sandpoint were married Saturday.

SERVING IN VIETNAM
U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Donald Wallace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wallace, is on duty at Tan Son Nhut AB, Vietnam as a communications technician with a unit of the USAF Communications Service. A Korean War veteran, he was previously assigned to Luke AFB, Ariz.

LOG FLUME ON LIGHTNING CREEK
Caryl Wilson has completed plans and made the survey for a flume to be put in from section 24 to where Lightning creek flows into Pack river, for the taking out of timber for C.W. Beardmore of Priest River from his holdings. The flume will be six miles in length, with a total fall of 619 feet and will cost between $40,000 and $50,000. It will be a “V” flume, with five-foot sides, resting on pilings or trestlework. It should be ready by early fall.
