MOSES LAKE — The Runnin’ Vikes fell at home to North Idaho on Wednesday night, 85-47.

Big Bend stayed close for most of the first half until the Cardinals broke loose around the ten-minute mark. North Idaho ballooned their lead in the final four minutes of the half, taking a 42-22 advantage into the locker room.

The second half followed suit with the first half as the visitors continued to pour it on in the second half. The Runnin’ Vikes were never able to crawl out of the sizable halftime deficit as North Idaho picked up the win on the road.

Jonathan Thomas was the only player to finish in double-figures, finishing with 12 points, four rebounds and a pair of steals. Three Runnin’ Vikes finished with eight.

Big Bend hosts Yakima Valley on Saturday afternoon in their next tilt, beginning at 4 p.m.
