Notable Calls for the Day!

02-07-2020

- Detectives arrested a male subject delivery of a controlled substance (meth).

- Deputies responded to the area of N. 4th St. in Athol for a reported Disorderly male subject. On scene they contacted a male who has been the subject of multiple Suspicious/Disorderly/etc. calls in the last few weeks.

- A Deputy contacted occupants of a suspicious vehicle and cited 18 year old male for paraphernalia. The parents of the 15 and 16 year old girls who were with him were called to pick them up. 20-05110

- A Deputy stopped and cited A male driver for Mara/Para 20-05128

- Deputies responded to W Red Tailed Hawk Ln to assist Tribal PD with possible suicidal/overdose subject. Tribal PD took primary on the investigation and facilitated the male’s medical needs.

- Several Deputies responded to the Fernan Saddle area for overdue motorists, one of which was a paraplegic subject. Due to minimal information, medical conditions, and impassable conditions for Patrol, Backcountry units were called out to assist locating and recovering the subjects from the Saddle/Marie Creek area. Early this morning (around 0700) the party was located stuck on FSR 499. All occupants were rescued.

It was a relatively slow day in comparison. Have a safe and enjoyable Saturday.

Notable Calls of the Day!

02-08-2020

- Deputies responded to a Family Disturbance at E. Canyon Rd. The 16yof on scene was apparently out of control and banging, punching walls in the house.

- Deputies responded to a reported Domestic Dispute at the intersection of Boekel X Hwy 95. On scene Deputies learned the issue was actually a Disabled Vehicle.

- Deputies responded to W. Kyler Ave. for a reported Fight. On scene units investigated and found that the mother on scene had raised her voice at her daughter for not cleaning the fish tank, and didn’t do her chores. The neighbor overheard this and decided it was a fight and called 911. Unfounded

- Deputies responded to W K St in Worley in regards to a mutual battery/fight between step mother and her daughter. At the conclusion of his investigation, Deputies cited the daughter for battery.

- Deputies responded to N Colfax St in regards to a possible heroin overdose. A female called to report that her boyfriend had been unconscious but after administering 2 doses of Narcan, he recovered and was last reported up and walking around. Deputies responded however no one was home and they would not answer any calls.

- Deputies responded to E Hayden Lake for a dispute between elderly father and adult daughter. The dispute stemmed from ongoing property dispute issues but no violence or crimes occurred. The parties were separated to avoid further dispute.

- A Deputy contacted a male on 15th St and completed a report for possession marijuana/paraphernalia.

- Deputies responded to the area Razzles in Hayden for possible DUI driver reported anonymously. Units conducted a bar check to provide presence and deter the issue.

- Deputies responded for a somewhat serious two vehicle t-bone collision at Prairie and Huetter. Two small passenger cars full of teenagers collided when one teenager attempted to turn southbound in front of the other onto Huetter. 3 teens were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

- Deputies responded to E Midtown Ln for a domestic between a male and his ex-girlfriend. The female called to report that the male had battered her. Upon arrival, the male resisted units at the door and was in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Deputies arrested the male for resisting, mara, para, and cited for battery and interference with 911.

- Deputies responded to N Twinlow Rd for a medical call.

- Deputies provided an agency assist for Spirit Lake for an intoxicated male pounding on someone’s door. The call was transferred to Spirit Lake after containment.

- Deputies responded to a disorderly male at the Alpine Country Store who later created problems for Scott’s Taxi at the Hayden Walmart. Deputies issued a warning and solved the problem.

Notable Calls of the Day!

02-09-2020

- Multiple Deputies from swings and graves responded to the area of Victory City Church in Post Falls off of 16th St. for a report of an unlawful entry. After an investigation, it was determined that a crime had not occurred.

- Deputies responded to a report of a physical domestic in a vehicle, southbound US 95 from Boekel Rd. The vehicle was located and the female victim was contacted. It was learned that after an altercation, the male jumped out of the vehicle, while the female drove to the Lancaster Market and called 911. The male was believed to be armed with a revolver and walking towards the Athol area. ISP also searched the area without luck. A warrant was requested for the male for battery and a violation of a TPO. ATL broadcast to local area.

- Deputies responded to E. Shilo Lp. twice after a male called 911 over misc. medical issues. During the first call, he reported his longtime girlfriend was “freaking out” and highly intoxicated. During the initial contact, both were oriented and no further action could be taken. During the second call, the male advised he was suffering from dementia, however, refused medical attention while medical was on scene. He, again, was well oriented and there were no signs of danger.

- Deputies stopped a vehicle in reference to the ongoing investigation for the burglary of the Cleanco in Hayden. A male was stopped in the vehicle observed in the burglary. He was wearing the same clothes used to commit at least one additional burglary in CDA, per CDAPD reports. He also had a warrants out of ID and CO for burglary and similar charges. The male was taken into custody on the warrant and our burglary charges.

- Deputies responded to W. Painter’s Lp. in Post Falls for a report of a physical domestic between 2 females and a male. Upon arrival, it was determined that it was a non-physical argument between 2 sisters, while a boyfriend was trying to keep things from escalating.

- Deputies responded to the Casino for a found drugs report and the suspect was still on scene. After his initial investigation, the Deputy arrested a female for possession of Meth and Paraphernalia.

- While at the Casino investigating the previous drugs call, Deputies took a fraud/forgery report. A counterfeit $20 dollar bill was attempted to be passed at one of the gift shops and the suspect said the bill came from Value Village in Spokane. A report was completed.

- A Deputy responded to JDC and arrested a juvenile female for her warrant. She turned herself in.

- A Deputy arrested a male for his warrants from a traffic stop.

- Deputies responded to the end of Bull Run Rd. for a report of a possible domestic dispute with yelling. It was kids sledding and cleared as unfounded.

- Deputies responded to the area of Prairie and Greensferry for a weapon offense. A female reported she got involved in a road rage incident with a black Mitsubishi. The driver of the Mitsubishi pointed a black pistol at the victim and then drove off. The driver of the suspect vehicle was later located at their residence. The suspect was arrested for aggravated assault.

- Deputies responded to a welfare check at N. Brookside Dr. PFPD had a report of a physical fight in the area of the Flying J where a female was “beaten up” and then got back in the car with the people who beat her up. The family was contacted at Brookside Dr. and it was determined two children got in an argument over a cell phone. The mother then separated the children and got them in the car and went home. No crime.

- Deputies assisted ISP in attempting to locate a suspicious male on the Veteran’s Bridge. The male was reported as looking over the edge and wearing no shirt. No one was located.

- Deputies responded to the Hayden Walmart for a report of a male in the store filling a duffle bag with items and appeared getting ready to leave. They arrived and contacted a male adult pushing a cart. The duffle bag was in a cart and full of items. The male admitted that he steals from Walmart frequently. The male was arrested for burglary and cited for willful concealment.
