Nonprofit North Idaho CASA invites the community to attend its annual Ray of Hope luncheon on March 5 at The Coeur d’Alene Resort. Doors open at 11:30 and the program begins at noon.

CASA supports trained advocates for over 500 child abuse and neglect victims in North Idaho. Advocates investigate child protection cases, represent the child’s best interest in court and help find them a safe home with a forever family.

Corporate Partner Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty is the lead sponsor.

Table sponsorships are $250, which includes a table of eight for lunch.

The event will honor community businesses and agencies that partner with CASA to make a difference in the lives of child victims.

“Advocating for the youngest, most vulnerable victims takes a large group of strong-willed, brave adults,” a press release said.

The Distinguished Service of Victim Advocacy Award and Advocate of the Year will be acknowledged.
