BONNERS FERRY — The Badger boys played hard against Kellogg on Thursday, Feb. 6, eventually falling to the visiting Wildcats 73-55.

“I thought we played some good ball for most of the game,” said coach Andy Rice. “I felt like we kept our composure when they went on some runs and we fought back which was really nice to see.”

Kellogg led the first quarter, but the Badgers came back, going into the third quarter up by one point.

“We had some calls that did not go our way and I think we let that affect our game. Kellogg is pretty good but I think if we play together and take care of the ball they are beatable,” said Rice.

The Badgers play Sandpoint this Friday night, Feb. 14, at 5:30 p.m., and then host Post Falls on Saturday night at 5:30 p.m., which is also senior night.

BONNERS FERRY— Small town. There are things that happen in a small town that can happen nowhere else. At least not in the same way. Every year, as springs rolls into summer, a week stands out that means “community” to so many people.
