The Mission-Charlo Bulldogs won the Western Class B-C Divisional tournament last Saturday in St. Ignatius and will send 10 wrestlers to the state tournament this week at MetraPark in Billings.

The host Bulldogs crowned three champions and totaled 187 points to edge Clark Fork (Superior-Alberton), which had 183.5. The top four place finishers advanced.

Mission-Charlo’s Isaac DuMontier was his teams’ first champion after he pinned Eureka’s Chance Muller in 2:45 at 145 pounds.

At 170 pounds, Isaiah Allik’s perfect season continued when he pinned Thompson Falls’ Dane Chojnacky in 1:29.

At 205, Miles Anderson pinned Clark Fork’s Chandon Vulles in 3:53.

The Bulldogs had second-place finishes from Walker Murphy (126), Darwin Adams (152) and Ethan Diaz (160).

Placing third were Kody Dillard (103), Isaiah Fields (120) and Troy Matt (182).

Placing fourth was Robert Dempsey (138).

The Arlee Warriors qualified five wrestlers for this weekend’s state championships.

Tyrel Thomas (113) and Colt Crawford (145) each finished third.

Placing fourth were 132-pounder Jace Samsel, 160-pounder Demetrix Austin, 285-pounder John Matt.
