PONDERAY — It’s hunting season!
The Rotary Club of Ponderay Centennial is kicking off their 14th annual Duck Derby with a party at MickDuffs Brew Hall on Tuesday, Feb 18 at 5:30pm during Winter Carnival. Come learn more about the Duck Derby, Duck Flocking, do some snacking, and have extra opportunities to win extraordinary prizes!
At the party, you can buy Duck Derby “hunting licenses” (raffle tickets) allowing you to “hunt” ducks at the Duck Derby event on April 4. Winning ducks can earn prizes instantly and all tickets are placed in the Grand Prize Raffle for items such as a Schweitzer season pass, a YMCA 3 month membership, a Selkirk Powder snowmobile trip, and other fun prizes.
You don’t have to hunt ducks or even be present to win. You can just buy the tickets and put them directly in the grand prize raffle.
On this one night only at MickDuff’s, the tickets you buy are two for one’s. Tickets will not only give you a chance to hunt ducks and be an instant winner and win any of the grand prize raffle items, but you also can win any of the many great raffle prizes available during the party. One night only!
Proceeds from the kick-off party and the Duck Derby go directly back into the community through educational scholarships, fighting disease, & supporting community service projects.
On this night, you can also arrange for a friend to be flocked! Your friend will be mysteriously flocked with possibly hundreds of rubber ducks depending on donation size! A great way to make an impression!
