MOSES LAKE — Eastbound traffic on Interstate 90 was backed up shortly before noon Thursday after a two-car collision resulted in one vehicle on its side blocking the exit at milepost 176, near Moses Lake.

Law enforcement was notified at around 11:30 a.m. of the collision, in which a green 2006 Subaru Legacy driven by Richard August, 73, changed lanes and sideswiped a gray 2019 Dodge Charger driven by Sonereka Dupree, 53.

The collision caused the Dodge Charger to spin around, coming to rest facing the wrong way near the median. August’s car struck the guard rail and rolled. His vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side, blocking exit 176.

No injuries were reported, though both vehicles sustained reportable damage and were towed from the scene.
