ADLER: In a word, wrong
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 5 years, 10 months AGO
I always become suspicious when a liberal, self-proclaimed Constitutional “expert” praises a Republican as David Adler did by praising Mitt Romney in the Feb. 12 edition of the Coeur d’Alene Press. Liberal commentators like Adler excoriated Mitt Romney when he ran for president against President Barack Obama in 2012, but now are overflowing with glorious adjectives of praise for Romney simply because he opposes President Trump.
Apparently, Constitutional “Expert” Adler is unaware that Romney appears to also have ties to Ukraine. According to the Federalist, a former CIA official named Joseph Cofer Black was appointed by Romney as Special Foreign Policy Advisor in 2011 and later became a board member of the corrupt Ukrainian oil company Burisma while Hunter Biden was there.
Besides Joe Biden and Mitt Romney, John Kerry, the Clintons and Nancy Pelosi all had connections to Burisma. These involvements reveal the real reason for the aggressive impeachment in the Senate. These facts take that glowing shine off David Adler’s words of praise for Romney. Adler is wrong and simply is looking for an excuse to denigrate President Trump under a cloak of praise for Romney. We see through the hypocrisy.
