MOSES LAKE — Big Bend Community College will induct six at the third annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Auction on Friday, Feb. 28. The class includes Hayes Garrity, Jessica Metz, Dylan Signorelli, Blake Skidmore, the 1998-99 women’s basketball team and the 2010-11 men’s basketball team.

All proceeds from the dinner go toward BBCC athletics. Those wishing to attend can purchase an individual ticket, or choose to sponsor a table of eight.

The “Building the Dream” Dinner and Auction will be held in the ATEC Building at BBCC from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday.

Garrity averaged 21.5 points per game for the fresh Hall of Fame inductee 2010-11 Vikings, on his way to being named East Region MVP in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. Garrity went on to play for Idaho State University and Utah Valley University after his time with Big Bend.

Metz played for the women’s basketball team from 2002-04. Metz led the conference in 3-point percentage as a freshman at an absurd 52 percent clip. Metz was named First-Team East Region before going on to play professionally in Nitra, Slovakia and Honduras.

Signorelli was named First-Team Eastern Region, First-Team All-NWAACC, and Team Rawlings/ABCA All-America as a baseball player with the Vikings from 2012-14. Signorelli also received the NWAACC Academic Excellence Award.

Skidmore played for the Runnin’ Vikes from 2012-14, named All-Region twice in addition to winning Eastern Region MVP and being named a NWAC All-Star. Skidmore received the NWAC Academic Excellence Award before going on to play at Westminster College.

Joining the individual inductees are the 1998-99 women’s basketball team and 2010-11 men’s basketball team, both Eastern Region Champions. The men’s team made it all the way to the NWAC Final Four.
