Big Bend men, women lose season finale

MOSES LAKE — Big Bend fell to Walla Walla 75-67.

The Runnin’ Vikes trailed by nine at halftime and were unable to gain the lead in the second half. Jonathan Thomas made a jump shot with about six minutes to play to tie the game, 61-61, but that’s as close as Big Bend would get. Thomas led the Vikes with 14 points.

Women’s basketball

Walla Walla 101, Big Bend 65

MOSES LAKE — Anna Yarbro scored 20 points and had 19 rebounds, but Big Bend lost to Walla Walla 101-65.

The Warriors led by 15 at half and separated with a 25-9 third quarter.
