Marty J. Puryer Sr. died peacefully Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at his home in Kalispell.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Harry; his mother, Anne; his stepmom, Helen; and his brother, Bucky.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sinda, of 42 years; his two children, Marty Jr. (Heidi) Puryer of Kalispell, and Marcy (Mike) Mollett of Billings; two granddaughters, Amanda (Anthony) Coggins (and their two children Tatum and Ayden) and Danielle Jeldness, both of Billings; his two sisters, Janice (Charley) Ashley and Susan Dalton, both of Kalispell; his sister-in-law, Linda Puryer, of Eureka; his stepbrother, Quentin “BJ” Woods, and stepsister Phyllis (Donnie) Conger of St. Regis Falls, New York. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His sense of humor, quick wit, a twinkle in his eyes, and his cooking will be greatly missed.

Marty did not want services, though he would appreciate any donations to the West Valley Fire Department.
