ALLWEST hires Aardahl as Hayden area manager
Kevin Aardahl has joined ALLWEST’s Hayden office as area manager. In his new position, Aardahl will manage operations and supervise the geotechnical engineering, environmental services and construction materials testing departments.
Aardahl received his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in engineering geology from California State University in 1986 and has more than 30 years of experience in geology and environmental engineering.
Prior to ALLWEST, Aardahl most recently worked in California as a contract environmental consultant providing technical review and support for projects related to environmental chemical contamination.
ALLWEST maintains a professional staff of engineers, geologists and engineers-in-training serving the Inland Northwest, with offices in Meridian, Lewiston, Spokane Valley and Missoula.

Hlebichuk earns
Play Therapy Credential
Sarah Hlebichuk, a licensed clinical social worker in Hayden, earned the prestigious Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) credential conferred by the Association for Play Therapy (APT), according to its CEO Kathryn Lebby.
In order to receive this credential, applicants must have earned a traditional master’s or higher mental health degree from an institution of higher education and clock 150 hours of play therapy training, five years and 5,000 hours of post-master’s clinical experience, 500 supervised and 500 additional hours of play therapy experience, and be licensed or certified by their state boards of practice.
Play therapy has become an effective modality which licensed mental health professionals, school counselors and school psychologists use in developmentally appropriate ways to better communicate with and help clients, especially children.
APT is a national professional society formed in 1982 to advance the field of play therapy. It sponsors research, training and programs to assist the professional development of its nearly 6,000 members in more than 25 countries.
