MOSES LAKE — A Quincy man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly firing shots out of his moving car at a vehicle that passed him on state Route 17 roughly eight miles northwest of Moses Lake.
Maurisio Medina Ramos, 20, of Quincy, was booked into the Grant County Jail on charges of drive-by shooting, improper display of a gun and unlawful possession of a firearm, according to law enforcement.
After being passed by a vehicle on the highway near milepost 61, Medina Ramos allegedly fired several shots, at least one of which was reportedly aimed at the other vehicle. Law enforcement indicated that Medina Ramos did not know the victim, but instead fired shots because he didn’t like how the victim passed him.
Neither the victim nor their vehicle was hit by any bullets, according to law enforcement. Medina Ramos was stopped three miles north near milepost 64 and taken into custody.
