Sawhills note 70 years

Robert and Aleatha (Knudson) Sawhill are celebrating their 70th anniversary today, Jan. 1. The couple, who have lived in Sandpoint their entire married life, were married at First Lutheran Church in Sandpoint on Jan. 1, 1950.
Now retired, Robert Sawhill worked at the Pack River Lumber Mill in Dover. Aleatha Sawhill worked in the home and raised the couple’s five children: the late Sharon Enockson, Stanley (Gloria) Sawhill, Carolyn (John) Cotton, Janet Sawhill, and the late Larry Sawhill.
In addition to their children, the couple have many many grandchildren and great-grandchlldren.
A family get-together is planned at the couple’s home.
