Old Navy plans to build a new store in North Kalispell, on the south side of Hobby Lobby at 2250 U.S. 93 North.

The time-line to open the store is still tentative, but construction could be completed this summer, according to contractor Swank Enterprises.

The project is currently in the planning review stage with the Kalispell Planning and Building Department. If approved, the next step in the process will be issuing a building permit.

The building is slated to take up 12,572 square feet and is projected to cost $1.2 million.

Old Navy is owned by Gap Inc. and based in San Francisco. Gap also owns Banana Republic, Intermix, Hill City and Athleta. Old Navy is known for basic, affordable clothing for men, women and children. There are currently Old Navy stores in Missoula and Great Falls.
