Prep roundup: Moses Lake boys hold off Rogers in OT

SPOKANE — Moses Lake senior Kyle Karstetter scored 34 points and Moses Lake upended Rogers 76-70 in overtime.
Both teams struggled offensively in the fourth quarter and Moses Lake held a 4-3 edge over the final eight minutes of regulation to force overtime. The Chiefs doubled up the Pirates 12-6 in the extra period to get the win.
Dax Lindgren added 10 points.
Ellensburg 60, Othello 43
ELLENSBURG — Patrick Azevedo scored a team-high 18 points, however, the Huskies lost to Ellensburg 60-43.
The Huskies trailed 16-2 after one quarter and could not overcome the early deficit. Jorge Buenrostro added nine points and Julian Alegria had six.
Zillah 81, Royal 48
ZILLAH — Royal hung with Zillah for a half before the Leopards pulled away and won 81-48.
The Knights were held to 13 second-half points. Caleb Christensen and Tyler Allred scored 19 and 10 points, respectively.
Mason Landdeck poured in 26 to lead the Leopards.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 67, Asotin 49
ASOTIN — Austin Thompson scored a game-high 19 points and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague beat Asotin 67-49.
The Broncos pulled away with a 14-6 fourth quarter. Spencer Gering had 17 and Drew Kelly scored 15.

ELLENSBURG — Analee Coronado scored 17 points in Othello’s loss to Ellensburg, 50-29.
Ashley Perez added six points for the Huskies.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 64, Asotin 21
ASOTIN — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague outscored Asotin 32-5 in the first half and cruised to a 64-21 win.
The Panthers scored 14 of their 21 points in the third quarter. Dakota Killian led the Broncos with 25 points.

REARDAN — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague won a defensive battle against Reardan 43-31.
The Broncos held the Indians to single digit scoring in three out of four quarters. The Broncos received balanced scoring with Drew Kelly’s 13 points leading the way. Austin Thompson scored 12 and Spencer Gering recorded 11 points.

REARDAN — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague rode an 11-point lead after the first quarter to a 59-46 win over Reardan.
Janaye Wilkie led the Broncos with 15 points. Eliza Galbreath and Dakota Killian chipped in 14 and 13 points, respectively, to highlight the Broncos’ balance.
