LIBBY, Mont. — Sandpoint wrestling won a pair of duals Tuesday, defeating Libby 43-28 and Thompson Falls 60-28.
“We wrestled awesome tonight,” Head coach Jake Stark wrote in a text.
In the dual with Libby, the Bulldogs claimed eight of the 13 matches and won four by pin.
Tanner Dickson, Darrian Resso, Gregory Belgrade and Carson Mavity were the four wrestlers that claimed victories via pin.
Stark thought that Dickson, Resso, Brady Nelsen and Trevan Adam really stood out in the two duals.
“I felt like we showed great team unity and its a great way to lead into the River City Duals,” he wrote.
Sandpoint competes in the River City Duals this Friday and Saturday in Post Falls.
