The Glacier Wolfpack got a run of heavyweight pins to beat Missoula Sentinel 44-22 in a wrestling dual on Thursday at Glacier High School.

“Really proud of our effort tonight. I thought our conditioning looked really good and our guys were aggressive. Even in a few of the losses we were on the attack,” Glacier coach Ross Dankers said.

Thomas Crofts at 182 pounds, Caeden Seymour at 205, Camryn Vergeront (285), Royce Conklin (153), Caden Gilmond (160) and Kael Willis (170) each earned pins. Teegan Vasquez at 113 won by forfeit.

Dankers credited Conklin’s pin of Jesse Horner with changing the direction of the dual after Sentinel went on a run of pins in the middle of the dual.

“Thanks to all our youth wrestlers that showed up on youth night and made it a great event,” Dankers added.

Glacier next heads to Flathead High School for a 6 p.m. crosstown matchup.
