Tickle monster was no emergency

A Kalispell Police Department dispatcher heard two people “giggling” and saying “no” in the background of an accidental 911 call. The dispatcher who overheard this thought it sounded like a man was tickling a woman. The dispatcher called back and spoke with the man, who said there was no need for any emergency services.

Someone’s car was broken into while he was waiting for it to be serviced and the registration, insurance card, owner’s manual and cash were stolen.

A woman saw a social media post about a dog running loose and she said she believed it was her dog that had been stolen four years earlier.

A woman in Hawaii who rents out her local residence wanted to know why her water had been shut off.

A large plow truck was parked facing the wrong direction on a street, and someone was concerned it would cause high school children to be hit by passing vehicles. The truck was cited.

An SUV and a pick-up truck were supposedly seen “chasing each other” in the Hutton Ranch area.

A wife was concerned because her husband, who often goes on long walks, had not returned from one of his walks. An officer found him on the Three Mile Drive overpass and he was returned to his house.

A boyfriend grabbed his girlfriend’s ponytail and they were separated for the night.

The tires were slashed on a white Chevy Silverado pick-up truck.

A woman was suspicious of a man she saw walking up a hill, “dragging a big shovel that you would dig a hole with.” She said she had to “slam on her breaks” because the shovel-toting man nearly stepped in front of her vehicle.

Someone was worried because he said he saw someone sleeping in a car that was pulled over and claimed he occasionally saw “a hand flailing around from inside the vehicle.” The car was eventually towed.

A man thought he was being followed by an erratic driver. He said the person “driving crazy” ran two red lights. He wanted to know if it might have been an undercover officer, but the dispatcher informed him there was no undercover law enforcement in the area.

A deli worker accidentally dialed 911 while trying to call someone in Salt Lake City.

A man became “very upset” because his wife was busy, so his daughter called 911.

A woman was apparently seen on U.S. 93 yelling at cars to hit her.
