WILD HORSES-ROUNDUP

RENO, Nev. — A group that advocates for protection of wild horses says a federal agency didn't provide adequate notice of a weeks-long roundup planned to begin Monday in Nevada and Utah and is asking for a postponement. SENT: 380 words.

ICE CASTLES

MIDWAY, Utah — An otherworldly frozen kingdom has made its annual winter debut in Utah. The Midway Ice Castles feature ice walls and tall towers that take 10,000 man hours and about 25 tons (23 metric tons) of ice and snow to create, the Daily Herald newspaper reported. SENT: 215 words.
