TOPPENISH — Ephrata went shot-for-shot with unbeaten Toppenish but ultimately lost in double overtime 93-87.

Tuesday night’s double overtime affair was the third overtime played between the teams in two meetings. Down 80-77 at the end of the first overtime, Gavin Burns nailed a 3-pointer with under eight seconds to play.

The Wildcats pulled ahead by six with under a minute to play in the second overtime and held onto the lead. Ephrata’s Jayce Moore fouled out with 26 points.

Ephrata gave unbeaten Toppenish all it had, building a 17-point lead in the third quarter before the home team whittled the deficit down to force overtime.

Selah 80, Othello 52

OTHELLO — Othello was outscored 47-19 in the second half and lost to Selah 80-52.

Jorge Buenrostro and Patrick Azevedo led the Huskies with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Selah standout Noah Pepper scored 27 points.

Wahluke 52, Royal 51

ROYAL CITY — Tanu Buck sunk a pair of free throws with under 20 seconds to play and beat Royal on the road 52-51.

Buck’s steal and ensuing free throws helped the Warriors earn the win in a game they trailed most of the way. Buck finished with a game-high 24 points and Logan Marlow added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Carter Dorsing scored 21 points for Royal and Caleb Christensen had 13.

Davenport 46, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 45

DAVENPORT — Almira/Coulee-Hartline was edged by Davenport in a non-league game 46-45.

Reece Isaak scored 16 points and Dane Isaak had 10.

Selah 60, Othello 36

OTHELLO — Analee Coronado scored 18 points but Othello lost to Selah 60-36.

Maciah Tovar added 13 points for the Huskies.

Davenport 50, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 19

DAVENPORT — Almira/Coulee-Hartline scored at most seven points in a quarter and lost to Davenport 50-19.

Mimi Isaak scored 13 of the Warriors’ 19.
