SPIRIT LAKE — Taryn Soumas scored 17 points, including four 3-pointers, as she led the Timberlake Tigers to a 66-37 victory over the visiting Badgers on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Blayre Jeffs, a 6-foot-5 post, added 14 points for the Tigers, who are ranked #2 in the Idaho 3A state rankings.

“Timberlake is a good, physical team,” said coach Travis Hinthorn. “Every time we lost Taryn she hit a three and Blayre played above us tonight. We need to work on playing faster and more physical.”

Holly Ansley led the Badgers with 14 points.
