SPOKANE — Bonners Ferry native James Porter Jr. earned his first victory in net for Spokane, stopping 33 shots as the Chiefs beat the Regina Pats 6-2 in Western Hockey League play Saturday night before 8,035 at the Spokane Arena.

Reed Jacobson scored twice for his first multi-goal game for Spokane, and Erik Atchison had his first multi-point night of the season with a goal and an assist.

Adam Beckman extended his point-scoring streak to 16 straight games, tallying his league-leading 33rd goal of the season, bettering his mark of 32 goals scored last year as a rookie. He has 20 goals and 11 assists in the streak.

Spokane, in third place in the U.S. Division, closes out its four-game homestand Wednesday vs. second-place Everett.
