Makes off with flavored vodka, whiskey and money

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake bar was burglarized last week after an employee forgot to lock the doors, according to law enforcement.

Law enforcement was called to the Hang Out Tavern last Sunday afternoon for a report of a midday break-in, according to police reports. The burglar stole a money bag containing approximately $1,100, the reporting party told police, as well as 10 bottles of liquor.

According to police reports, the liquor stolen included: one bottle of vanilla-flavored vodka, two bottles each of cherry-, grape- and “black velvet caramel-” flavored vodka, and three bottles of Fireball whiskey.

Police are continuing to investigate the burglary. There are no known suspects at this time, though a wet footprint was found at the scene.
