It's not too late to help the senior center
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 5 years, 1 month AGO
We want to thank all those in the community who helped with their donations to the Sandpoint Area Senior Center and DayBreak Center over the holiday season. We are so very appreciative of your help.
While many of you donated, we find that we are still in need and are reaching out once more to ask that perhaps before tax time, you consider our organization. Sandpoint is growing and much of the growth seems to be coming from senior citizens. Won’t you help us to reach out to all seniors, currently living here or moving in from other states, and make them aware of the services we have to offer them?
Without the community’s help, we could not maintain the programs we have in place. Our home-delivered meals are so important to those who are unable to leave their homes. The DayBreak Center is essential to families who find the need to leave their loved ones for a few hours to either work, go to appointments, shop, etc. The caregivers are so grateful to have an engaging place to leave their loved ones.
You may send donations to SASI, 820 Main St., Sandpoint, ID 83864 or call us at 208-263-6860.
