HELENA, Mont. — A Montana man was convicted of taking $390,000 from an armored truck in 2013 and using it to fund trips to Las Vegas and France. Developing.
ICE JAM-FLOODING
GREAT FALLS, Mont. —An ice jam that has caused flooding along a creek in central Montana has nearly submerged a town park and is rising into residents' basements and crawl spaces. The ice jam came after subzero temperatures and high ground water in Choteau and is likely to remain until warmer temperatures thaw the blocked culverts and stream beds, Great Falls Tribune reported Thursday. HUSKIES RESCUED
HAMILTON, Mont. —Most of the 39 huskies rescued in western Montana are finding homes, but 13 of them are too wild to be adopted. The Bitter Root Humane Association ended up with the dogs, including 13 puppies, after they were found unsupervised just before Thanksgiving on property east of Corvallis. SENT: 225 words.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Wyoming wildlife managers are criticizing plans by Grand Teton National Park to shoot nonnative mountain goats by helicopter. Inclement weather has so far prevented the aerial gunning though park officials recently closed off a wide area of the Teton Range where shooting is to occur. SENT: 305 words.
