Stranger pays house call to neighbor

Someone allegedly told Kalispell Police Department their neighbor knocked on their door and told them a random stranger walked into their house and was refusing to leave.
Police received a call from a man who claimed someone came into his home and assaulted him over a disagreement about living arrangements.
An apartment dweller allegedly said a woman who didn’t live there went to the bathroom near a truck and then appeared to be trying to break into a minivan.
A transient reportedly put her belongings in an exterior closet of a building. She was told to remove them and move along.
Numerous calls came in requesting officers check on the welfare of a woman purportedly seen dragging around bags, luggage and a German shepherd by the fairgrounds. At least two callers claimed they offered her a ride, but she refused.
An emergency room supervisor reportedly called police for assistance after a woman who wanted to stay at the ER was told that she couldn’t so she supposedly said she wanted to go to jail. The woman allegedly had been staying at the police department lobby for the last several days, but had since been moved along. She was advised of her options.
A woman reportedly choked a man while he was holding his child. He also alleged that she damaged the lights on his truck and threw his guns in the street. The man claimed it was an ongoing issue and wanted to press charges.
A man wearing a leather jacket was supposedly spotted looking into cars and walking into a store. Police made contact with the man who claimed he was looking in his own vehicle. The man and vehicle may have been involved in several previous shoplifting incidents over the past several weeks. He was advised to move along.
A suspicious vehicle was supposedly seen in a parking lot and then two men walked around the building, got into the vehicle and then circled the block.
Someone reported a break in through a through a side window and told police a safe and cash were missing.
