Unity Bancorp: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

CLINTON, N.J. (AP) _ Unity Bancorp Inc. (UNTY) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $6.1 million.

The Clinton, New Jersey-based bank said it had earnings of 55 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $21.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $17.2 million, which topped Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $23.7 million, or $2.14 per share. Revenue was reported as $67.1 million.

Unity Bancorp shares have decreased slightly more than 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased roughly 9% in the last 12 months.
