Milford Harvey Evans, 86, of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, December 24 2019 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Friends will gather at Trinity at City Beach on February 8, 2020, between 2-4 p.m.
Milford was born on November 10, 1933 in Leslie, Idaho, to Arthur and Virginia Evans. He grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint, graduating from Sandpoint High School in the class of 1951. Milford served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
After the military service, he worked as a Sawyer in Thomp-son Falls, Mont. In 1963 Milford married Beth Gilbert in Sand-point. He worked as a sawyer for Russell Oliver. He lived in Dover while he worked on the Alaska Pipeline and later ran heavy equipment locally, retiring in 1994.
Milford was a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed visiting Mexico, camping, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and reloading.
He is survived by four children, Marlene Dosher of Dover, Tom Evans of Dover, Brett (Kristy) Evans of Dover, and Myra (Ron) Darty of Post Falls; nine grandchildren, Emma and MaKenna Evans, Jonathan Barksdale, Nicole and Jeremy Darty, Kella and Nolan Wescott, Dana Miller and Amber Phillips; his former wife, Beth Evans of Dover; and a sister, Gerry Smith of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tamara Wescott, brother Kenneth Evans, and sister Wynona Evans.
